Hi! I’m a software engineer specializing in Spring Boot and React applications, scalable systems, and DevOps practices.
I'm a full-stack software engineer with experience in developing and deploying Spring Boot and React applications. As a big fan of modern technologies I spend a lot of time learning and experimenting with new tools, frameworks, game engines, and 3D software.
As a Senior Associate Engineer at Discover Financial Services I'm currently working with Kubernetes, and assisting a big financial institution with migrating all applications to the cloud. My responsibilities include working with application development teams to help them deploy their applications, and design and develop internal solutions for newcoming use cases.
I have also graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Masters Degree in Computer Science, and Summa Cum Laude from University of Illinois at Chicago.
In my free time I enjoy playing and developing video games, spending time with my pets, and playing chess. However, I still spend most of my time learning something new.

Senior Associate Infrastructure Engineer @ Discover Financial Services
Developed custom cloud native solutions, such as secrets manager sidecar, helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, golden images, and Kubernetes operators. Created internal product and migration documentations, used by thousands of employees to onboard and maintain apps in Kuberentes. Developed a full-stack application with lots of self-service features, which significantly improved the response and resolution time of all support tickets. Worked with application development teams on individual basis to make the applications as cost effective, secure, available, easy to maintain and performant as possible.

Associate Application Engineer @ Discover Financial Services
Developed a full-stack application which performed automatic validations using custom rules. This application eliminated 100% of human errors, and increased the performance while decreasing cost. Implemented modern security practices using Okta, built integrations with ServiceNow, created a system for custom rules, and build support for big branching multi-page forms. Was one of the fist teams to onboard company's new cloud platform, which later helped other teams to onboard as well.

Application Engineering Intern @ Discover Financial Services
Designed and implemented a new cloud native feature for the customer communication systems to use handwritten to text conversion with AWS Textract Implemented module to perform automated mail and email validation to eliminate human errors and improve PCI compliance

Ecommerce platform built for a small business. Built with Spring Boot, Next.js and Stripe. Deployed on AWS and Vercel using full automation with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Video streaming platform deployed built and deployed on AWS. Allows uploading short (up to 2 GB) videos which are transcoded to HLS in different qualities and stored on S3. The videos are then served via CloudFront. Also includes a custom video player built with React.
